Eustace McGee was a double rarity when he entered UTS in 1911: not only was he a Roman Catholic in a school where most students were Anglicans, Presbyterians, or Methodists, he had also been born in Melbourne, Australia! He was played an active role in the school community, spending three years in the Cadet Corps and playing on the Senior Rugby Team. He enlisted in 1916 and served in the Royal Air Force. He was the last UTS student to die in service, killed while flying in February 1919. He is buried in Ampthill Saint Andrew Churchyard in Bedfordshire, England, and commemorated on the Trafalgar War Memorial in Oakville.
